Kids & Teens Jiu Jitsu: The Art of Self-Awareness & Perseverance

When it comes to Jiu Jitsu, kids and teens (Ages 5-13) don't have to be the heaviest or tallest to win a competition or mat exercise. As much as these are important, Jiu Jitsu is powerful in a way that empowers students to make use of their own strengths. As they discover who they are, their positive and negative traits, they will:

  • Evolve and grow as they transition into adulthood
  • Use their strengths to their advantage and improve their weaknesses
  • Practice patience, self-reliance, and physical and mental resilience

Witness Your Kids & Teens Get Physically Stronger & Mentally Sharper

In Japanese, the term Jiu-Jitsu is interpreted as “gentle art.”. While it is called as such, there is a strong and unformidable power that lies within each of our Jiu Jitsu students. At the heart every class, we teach how self-defense is an essential skill that everyone should possess. When children practice jiu-jitsu, they learn how to take down an opponent, escape from various holds, and use their physical abilities to compel an attacker to submit. Through time, they become physically stronger and mentally more aware of their environment. With us, we will help them:

  • Incorporate strength conditioning and fitness training through Jiu Jitsu
  • Enhance coordination, motor skills, agility, and flexibility

Through time, watch as they gain an unshakeable confidence brought by proper training in the body and mind through Jiu Jitsu!
